Sunday Not So Bloody (demo)

from Self-titled LP | "Trim Houses" Version by Minutes

/

about

From November of 2008. Again, two mics and full steam ahead. Chafe’s love-letter to the good parts of growing up with only a little bit of adult supervision. These lyrics have made Ike cry on stage, but he covered it up by blaming “HOW HOT IT IS UP HERE” and fiddling with his amp. For about a minute there we were unofficially called The Adults, and then for another minute we were called Ike Turner and the Adults. Then for many years we were called Minutes. Mad shout out to Aaron Young for use of his Fender for much of 2008.

about

Minutes Kalamazoo

Minutes began playing music in the summer of 2008. Composed of Chafe Hensley, Mark Larmee, Ryan Nelson, and Isaac Turner, all of whom are solidly "in their 30's", the band was started as an outlet for songs written by all members of the band. The modus operandi was always to enjoy the act of making music and to "serve the song".
